How old do you have to be to take part?
We take children from the age of eight upwards.

Can I pay on the day?
Yes. If the places are available that is not a problem. We can only guarantee bookings when payment is received.

Is it safe?
An outdoor activity by its very nature contains elements of risk. We at Sealyham do our utmost to reduce this risk. Our staff are very well trained and qualified. We risk assess all that we do regularly. We involve our staff in regular safety assessments. We continually take account of weather conditions. Our equipment is constantly being monitored. Safety is our first consideration in everything we do.


Are the instructors qualified?
All our instructors hold the relevant governing body awards for the activities they instruct which includes first aid and we have a rigorous on site training and assessment scheme to make your time with us as safe as possible.

What level of fitness do I need to take part in activities?You do not have to be super fit to take part in any of the activities at Sealyham Activity Centre. As a general rule the fitter you are the more you will get out of your course. But as long as you are healthy then you should be able to take part. Am I insured when on my chosen activity?
Sealyham activities DO NOT include personal travel or accident insurance; we do have public liability insurance to a sum of £5 million.

What happens if there is bad weather?
All of our activities can be affected by the weather in one way or another: we will adapt the activity to work best with the weather conditions and if this is inappropriate you will be offered the opportunity to swap to another activity or re book for another day.
